Mon May 5 08:01:58 | saturday saw 10 turkey at my turkey hunting spot 4 toms 6 hens didnt get a good shot at them so i had to pass them up sunday saw 1 hen at 6:30 and had agleast 5 toms within 75 yards but than 2 shot went off and and didnt hear another gobble for the rest of the day went home at 11:30 but my brother got a turkey 18 lbs 9 inch beard nice first turkey for 14 years old

Mon May 5 07:21:06 | Went fishing for white bass this weekend by Brewers. My son and I got 4 and lost 3 or 4 big ones. Lots of fun with ultra lites and 4lb test. Water was a little fast and muddy but they are there. Got them on beetle spins and road runners.

Colin: last night about 30 walleyes, very good size, were catch at the piers (State Park Holland). Husky and X_Rap used. We were waiting for the good time. I think it s time now. Hurry up before i catch them all!!! :-)

DNR wants input.
They are wanting to raise the limit on salmon from 3 to five and the # of hooks from 2 to 3.

I went out, but you know me they only thing I caught was a catfish.
We tried to go out at midnight, but the storm was coming in.
So we weathered it out, and went out at 4,but the winds were nasty.
Went under bluestar, and that's where I got the cat.
Well maybe I will have better luck next tourney.

Thu Apr 24 12:15:41 | After boat problems tuesday morning that left us sitting at the dock we made it out tuesday evening out of saugatuck. Went 4/4 on lake trout at about 50 feet of water. All looked in good shape as they swam away. After a couple of hours of that we started searching for something we could actually put in the box, but no luck.
Wed. morning made it out again. But again Lake Trout only. Went 6 for 7. Six hits in 40-55 foot of water and 30-48 foot down on orange or yellow toned spoons. Seventh came in the mud line straight out from the pierhead in about 30 foot of water. Again spent several hours searching deeper and shallower for something to put in the box. Several of the Lake Trout were in the 30-32" (9-11 lbs)range.
Tuesday evening was an awesome evening on Lake Michigan with a light haze and water as smooth as a swimming pool.

Thu Apr 24 10:08:40 | I was out Sunday and the plume from Lake Mac to the big lake was large, didn't slow down the catch though. It looks much clearer today on the pier cam. Wonder if that is slowing down the action around the piers. Is it really clearer? I can't get out there for a few more days.
