 05-12-08 | | Report: SALMON WERE SLOW OUT OF HOLLAND. SOME CAUGHT IN 60-140- FOW SPOONS AND FLIES.
WALLEYE OFF THE PIER AT NIGHT HUSKEY JERKS AND X-RAPS
PERCH NO REPORTS
WHITE BASS IN MAC AND THE BLACK RIVERS.
BLUEGILS AND CRAPIES IN MOST OF THE LAKES IN ALLEGAN. |
| 04-21-08 | | Report: Salmon were a little slow sunday but they are around. 50-60 FOW on spoons jp slammers seemed to work well. Greens and blues
Walleye off the pier have been hit and miss at night. Husky Jerks and x-raps
Perch have been good off the pier all weekend. minnows crawlers and spikes
White bass have started in the black minnows and spinners. |
| 04-09-08 | | Report: Steelhead, Browns, and Lake Trout have been reported out of Holland south to saugatuck. 6-20 FOW Trolling body baits and some on spoons in the deeper water. Stinger Dreamweavers, and JP Slammers.
Some steelhead reported in the local rivers.
Suckers are in the black river.
A few Walleye have been caught off the peirs of Saugatuck Holland and Grand Haven at night.
A few perch have been caught in the Holland chanel. |
| 04-04-08 | | Report: Steelhead + browns: We have had good reports off the Saugatuck pier and Grand Haven pier. Also reports from the bubbler in Port sheldon.
White fish: We have had reports from Grand Haven Saugatuck and St joe piers.
Suckers are running in most of the area rivers.
Some Bluegils reported at Verplanks and the docks in Dutton park |

Suckers are starting to run in the black river by paw paw dr.
Browns have been reported by the bubbler in Port Sheldon.
White fish have been caught off the Grand Haven pier. |
